The idea of Pokerviaggi comes from the experience of it’s founder Emilio Triunfo during his visit to the 2013 Aussie Millions poker tournament in Melbourne (Australia). After several trips abroad, Emilio has decided to create an international meeting point for Texas Hold’em players and subsequently a purchasing centre for poker tour packages. The aim was to rise awareness, promote, coordinate and organise poker travel packages worldwide as well as participation to main satellites of major international poker tournaments with the support of tour operators who specialise in this field.
Emilio discovered Texas Hold’em during a summer trip to Las Vegas in 2007. He traveled several times to Las Vegas between 2010-2011 and started playing online poker in 2012.
Emilio was the only Italian national to go ITM during the ANZPT main event 2013, Perth (Western Australia) after winning 2 phases and qualified for the main event at Perth Crown casino Poker tournament in 2017. More information about Emilio can be found on The Hendon Mob.
Emilio is well travelled and has a great knowledge of most main airports in Europe, USA and Australia. He speaks and write English fluently as his second language.
Emilio, as group leader, and/or one of his experienced Pokerviaggi representatives will always be present during tours to assist with transfers, tournament details and even private tours to discover the beautiful cities where the tournaments will take place.
2017
PokerViaggi started the year with visits to Melbourne and Perth (Australia). Another tour to WSOP Colossus III in Las Vegas during May/June 2017. For more destinations and tours please visit our TOURS page.
2016
This was a very busy year for PokerViaggi. Starting with a visit to the World Series Of Poker, Colossus II, Las Vegas, in June. Other destinations include Sofia (Bulgaria), Budapest (Hungary), Portomaso (Malta), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Pompano Beach (Southern Florida) and Hamburg (Germany).
2015
PokerViaggi visits Aspers casino – London, with one of the largest poker rooms in the city. Other 2015 destinations include Las Vegas, Prague and new locations like Campione (Italy).
2014
PokerViaggi visited Wien (Austria), in early spring for the European Poker Tournament (EPT). Other trips include Malta in July, Las Vegas in August and Prague in December as the final destination of the EPT.
2013
In August 2013 PokerViaggi took its first tour group to the beautiful city of Barcelona (Spain).
